Express Lube Technician
- The Lube Technician is responsible for vehicle quality maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations. This entry-level position will help progress employees to become full automotive line technicians.
Advanced Express Technician
Apprentice technician
- An Apprentice Technician, under the mentorship of an experienced technician, completes training and certification requirements to perform vehicle maintenance and repair functions.
Main Line Technician
- A Main Line Technician will diagnose vehicle service problems and perform quality repairs on assigned tasks, ensuring the vehicle is fixed right the first time. They will conduct a quality check after each repair, advise the Service Writer of needed repairs including parts needs, and inform the manager of any changes or deviations from the original repair instructions on the repair order.
Certified Technician
- A Certified Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty. They conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations, ensuring the safety and reliability of customer vehicles.
Senior Certified Technician
Master Certified Technician
- A Master Certified Technician is an expert in auto repair work. Their responsibilities include inspecting repair equipment, overseeing and signing off on repairs completed by other mechanics, and training new technicians. A Master Technician has extensive experience in using technology and tools to perform auto services quickly and effectively. Career qualifications for a master automotive technician include certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
Shop Foreman
- The Shop Foreman's primary role is mentoring, training, and developing technicians. This role assigns work to service technicians to attain the highest quality, morale, safety, and efficiency within the company's service team. The shop foreman will know how to diagnose/troubleshoot and monitor workflow and tickets passed out to technicians in the computer system and dispatch. The shop foreman also oversees our company's day-to-day operations.
